Simple - yet effective, 3-Step Night Time Skincare Routine
This is that routine for the nights you come stumbling in your house past 12:00 AM and the *last* thing you want to do is your 20 minute-long skincare routine.
Let's be real - we've all been there. Although your 20 minute-long skincare routine is important and provides many benefits to the skin, it's okay to condense it on nights when you don't have the time or energy. We found that at least doing the following 3 steps before we go to sleep after a long night helps us maintain the beautiful skin we put so much effort into.

Remove your Makeup
Every night before you go to bed, it is so important to remove your makeup because the skin renews itself when you sleep - and wearing makeup overnight can prevent this process from occurring. After late nights, we found two miracle products that make removing your makeup quick and easy - so we don't wake up with fatigued skin, and clogged pores. We use the Makeup Eraser Cloth or Garnier Micellar Water with a cotton pad.
The Makeup Eraser Cloth takes minimal effort to use and is highly effective at taking off your makeup and exfoliating the skin - all you need is water! The cloth is double-sided, one side is made up of short, hair-like fibers, that work to create a suction that removes dirt, makeup & oil. The other side has long fibers that work to exfoliate your skin. The cloth is reusable and can last up to 5 years! Maintenance for the cloth is also super easy as it is machine washable. All you need to do is wet the cloth with warm water and rub it on your face and eyes with gentle circular motions. The best part is this can be done from the comfort of your bed!
Apply a Toner
Next, we like to apply a toner because this step is also easy and quick to do so you can get to sleep faster! We like to apply a toner because it ensures any impurities left on the skin are removed and that our pores are clean. Applying toner can also be done from your bed and it doesn't need to be rinsed with water. Many often assume that toners are astringents - full of alcohol and basically suck all the oil and life out of your skin. While... that may be true with some products, there are many toners on the market now that are super gentle and hydrating. No matter what your skin type is - there is an effective toner out there for you!
Moisturize!
Finally, before we go to sleep, we apply a moisturizer. Applying moisturizer will help your skin repair itself overnight by adding moisture and hydration - so you wake up with soft hydrated skin. Basically, moisturizer acts as a sealant for your skin - so the dry air in your bedroom will not dry out your beautiful skin as you sleep.
We found when we get home late and are too tired to do our full skincare routine, at least doing these three steps is enough to maintain our skin and allows us to wake up looking fresh and ready for the day! The best part is these three steps require minimal effort and can all be done from the comfort of your bed.
Xoxo,
